Hi, I’m Jeri
I must admit, it has been quite an unexpected journey for me to become a full-time interior designer...
After a short career as a dietitian and many years as a stay-at-home mom, I felt a pull toward exploring the world of interior design, so I enrolled in a course and my curiosity quickly turned into a passion. Taking a space and making it extraordinary is my personal thrill.
In 2010, I established Cheney & Co. with the goal to create spaces that you don’t want to leave because it feels comfortable, lived in and authentic to you. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with local designers, prominent home builders, and cultivating my own clientele that share my same values. Because of my love of nature, you will notice that I frequently seek inspiration from it, infusing my designs with natural and organic elements. Thoughtful design is central to how I approach my work, whether I’m guiding a full renovation or helping clients refine their spaces over time.
Outside of interior design, I live to be outdoors, travel, and spend time with my loved ones.

Based in Utah, we work with clients throughout the region and surrounding areas, partnering closely to create homes that feel thoughtful, functional, and well considered from start to finish.
